I can't believe what just happened!!!!
I get a phone call at work for a coworker and it's someone from a "marketing" company saying he he "leads" for us and wants to speak to him. We're on the do not call registry and I felt a little like being a pain, so I started asking him what he wanted and where he was going with his little pitch.
He wouldn't answer me so I kept asking....Itold him to send me the leads, and he asked "what's in it for me?" Excuse me?????
He then calls me sweetie, and I say "Don't call me sweetie, I'm not your sweetie."
He tells me I'm rude and hangs up!
Then he calls me back!!!!
Saying we got cut off and starts harassing me!!!! I repeatedly asked for his number, he said he didn't have one, I asked for the name of the company and he kept calling me sweetie!!!!!!!
I told him to get a real job and hung up!!!!
Do you believe this!!!!!!

I just got a call for my boss and she doesn't talk to vendors at all. This guy was calling from India from Forester research and wanted 10 minutes to do a survey..yeah right buddy.
I asked him for his number and he says it's an international call. I said, so can I have the number? He continues with it's an international overseas call.
I continue with so, can I have the number? I said I have international calling capabilities. I know how to place an international call and so does my boss. So can I have the number? He says well I can send you an email with my contact information. I say, great because I need that anyway to forward to the group who handles calls like this.
He asked if he can follow up on Monday with her. I told him, it would be a waste of your time. Don't call.
We will see what happens.

They are so rude now, I guess because they aren't having much luck due to the new laws.
And they don't take no for an answer......and why does no one have an american accent anymore?
