vaginal bleeding with C-section??
I know that during a vaginal birth there is a ton of bleeding afterwards (understandably so), but is there also bleeding after a c-section? I assumed there wouldn't be since the baby isn't delivered from there, but just wanted to make sure. Thanks!

Re: vaginal bleeding with C-section??
Yes there is, but supposedly it's not as bad as it would be if you had a vaginal birth.

Re: vaginal bleeding with C-section??
I bled lightly for about 2 weeks, if that. Then about once a week I bleed for half a day.

Re: vaginal bleeding with C-section??
Your body is still discharging the same materials as it would with a vaginal birth.

Re: vaginal bleeding with C-section??
Yes exactly you are still discharging --
I bled heavily for about 2 weeks and tapered off to very light until 6 weeks post C.

Re: vaginal bleeding with C-section??
Lot of bleeding in the beginning...so bring pads with wings. The bleeding stopped at 4-5 weeks.
