dressing baby for going out
My DS was born Dec 19th so we haven't really gone out much since he is only a month old and it's cold outside. We have gone for two walks, when it was warmer out and only go from our house to the car to my parents house or the dr's and back home. I put him in a warm sleeper with feet, socks, hat, mittens and a big warm blanket over him plus warm up the car. Should I put something warmer on him like a sweater? Do you think he is warm enough? I think he is fine but, someone said I should.

My DD is 7 weeks and when we just go from the house to car, car to house I only have DD in a sleeper, hat and bundle me. My ped told me not to over heat her esp in the cold. I think what you are doing sounds fine.

Sounds plenty warm. We usually put DD in a warm sleeper, hat, and the bundle me. As long as the car is heated up ahead of time...you'll be fine on these cold days.

Re: dressing baby for going out
I got this for DS from Land's End. It's nice and warm but not too thick for the car seat.
