Nuchal Translucency test?
I am going for this test tomorrow...what should I expect? Thanks.

is that the ultrascreen test?
If so, they do a son, it took me almost 45 minutes, because my two peas were NOT cooperating, they would not stay still. They measure the folds in the back of the neck.
It was so cool ,ebcause I got to see them moving around for almost an hour
Then they take blood. They prick your finger and squeeze the blood and drop it on 5 dots on a piece of paper.

Yes...this must be the test because I remember the doctor saying something about pricking my finger. I'm excited and nervous....excited to see the baby again, nervous they are going to tell me something is wrong.

the tech could not give you any results right there. But after a half an hour of her being unsuccessful, the DR. came in and looked around and he said so far everuthing looked fine. Just waiting for the results, whic reminds me I have to call the DR. because the reults should have been in by now. He told me if I dont hear from them all is fine.
Now I just have to go take that AFP test, it is a blood test that tests for neural tube defects.

I just had mine done this morning. It took about 15 minutes for the sono tech to get all the measurements they needed and then a quick blood test.
