Anyone else having this problem?
For the last three nights when I wake up my upper thighs have been hurting me. First night it was the front the second only the back of the left one and last night it was my inner thighs. It hurts for a few hours after I wake up then goes away.

ME !!! I was just complaining to my friend about this and as i was sitting here it just happened !!! It happend also last night. I tried walking it off but it just hurt more. I have been drinking a lot of water so it can't be dehydration. How many weeks are you? I am 34.

Re: Anyone else having this problem?
I am 33 weeks. I am in a lot of pain. It usually goes away in a few hours but it didn't. Could it be pressure from the baby?

Re: Anyone else having this problem?
Yes i have been sore mostly in my inner thighes since around 30 weeks. I mostly feel it at night. I think its a combo of the babies being low down and when i get up to go to the bathroom at night i use those muscles. I feel like someone took a bat and whacked me between my legs most of the time.

Re: Anyone else having this problem?
i asked a friend who says it is pressure from the baby and your hips getting ready for childbirth. It is the most uncomfortable feeling i felt throught my pregnancy. I called my dh crying about it that is how bad it was.

Re: Anyone else having this problem?
As your pregnancy continues, the weight of the baby and your changing form may cause pain when your pubic joint expands in preparation for birth.
Suggestions:
Regular exercise Rest when you need it Warm compresses at the site of pain May worsen after walking or standing a lot May be worse when you are tired
i'll keep searching for better info
