Vitamins for baby
When did you start giving your baby vitamins? My son is 13 mos. and my mom says we should be giving him a vitamin. The doctor never mentioned it. I don't feel there is a need for it since he eats everything.

my doc gave it to him when he turned a yr i think i have given it to him 2 times basically cause he felt under the weather at the time lol. but he also eats everything so i never give it. its basically up to you. normally around age 1 the doc should give it to you though

WE started Andrew at 6 or 7 months. The doc put him on Poly Vi Fluor (sp?). I think it has to do with him being breastfed. He eats wonderfully too!

My son is almost 17 months old. I've never given him any vitamins. His doctor said he didn't need them because he eats everything. He was breastfed until he was 1 year old.

My kids have been taking vitamins since they were 6 months old. First was liquid and then chewable around a year or so.

Claire has been taking Tri-vi-sol since she was about 3 months, it is special for BF babies.
