Losing the 10 pounds quickly isn't the hard part.. its KEEPING it off after you lose it fast that becomes impossible.. I know I don't have to tell you this but the only way to keep the weight off is to lose it SLOW and STEADY..
BUT in a pinch if you want to lose some weight quickly I would say that Atkins or Low Carb type of diets work very very well for fast weight loss.
I'm not an Atkins fan (since I love carbs too much and hardly eat eggs or meat) but when I did it for 2 weeks (the induction phase) I think I lost about 11 pounds..
