Leave from work
Do you think this is good enough. I am due May 2, 2006 I was given 6 Weeks full pay maternity leave. I have 3 Weeks vacation SO to get ready for baby I decided to take every Monday & Friday in April off so I will be working only 3days that will be one week and my Last day will be April 21st. I will then use 2 weeks vacation before my maternity leave kicks in. So my leave will start May 8th. Does this make sense?..I put in a request form to my boss today and I am hoping it make sense.

Sounds good to me. But the baby has a mind of it's own so dont count on those dates too much

I know that the baby could come sooner or later...I am going to let them know that it could change. As I get closer to my due date I will see what the dr. says if it looks like i may go early I will change it. I really am not planning on coming back so I wanted to work as close to my due date as possible. I figured the 3 day work weeks would help me out at home I would be able to get a lot done.

My office doesnt count my leave as maternity until the baby is born...so even though I'm leaving work March 31st...I wont officially be on maternity until I have the baby.
I'm such a planner...not knowing when she is coming is making me crazy

I wish I got a paid leave but I am going back Thurs Fri and alt Sat's so I can't complain........
