How exciting! Its not early at all - especially since you are feeling uncomfortable in your regular clothes.
I always had great luck and found cute clothes at Motherhood.

Try Motherhood in Macys too. I was wearing smaller sized maternity pants by 10 wks, it was SO worth it.

Re: think i may go buy some maternity clothes this weekend YAY
i went shopping this past weekend at 14 weeks for the first time. it was not a very good experience. while motherhood had a nice selection, everything was gigantic on me. i tried on pants for 1/2 an hour & no luck whatsoever. my kohl's had no selection at all, target was a bust, but i did find a few pairs of pants at old navy with a very narrow panel- like 2 inches tall. they were perfect, but they only had them in two colors. i did order a few other pairs off the website that weren't available in the store- i hope they work out. i'm desperate!!! it's tough because i wear a small, but i'm very tall, and my belly is not big at all, but i don't fit into my regular pants. oh, and old navy is having a sale now. check out their website.
i hope you have better luck than i do! let me know if you find anything good!

Re: think i may go buy some maternity clothes this weekend YAY
so exciting, and OMG soo comfy once you get in those maternity pants!
I was in maternity pants at 10 weeks, maternity shirts at about 18 weeks. Have fun! It seems like yesterday I was playing with the pg pillow at motherhood that makes you look 5 months pg!
ETS: dont' buy too much too soon. It's really hard to predict how you body will change on how big your belly will be, and where you will carry. I bought essentials, then added on. I am now growing slowing growing out of my clothes.

try H&M Maternity if you didn't already. I am long legged and found some of their pants fit me well and were cut to the smaller size that I needed mediums in a lot of their stuff esp once my belly popped. Old Navy and Gap - never fit me and Motherhood was hit or miss on length. I never found anything in Target or Kohls.

I went to Maternity Works in The Source and they're having a major sale. I bought a few pairs of dress pants and tops for work, all for like $80.

I have a few pairs of old navy maternity jeans - they fit great! I found cute tops at motherhood but they are a litttle pricey IMO. I found a few tops at Kohls maternity section and believe it or not - JC Penny maternity section as well. good luck!
