Breast feeding question I didn't see in a book
Okay this may be embarrassing but here goes:
If you were a woman who liked to have your breasts played with and maybe even sucked on how did you feel resuming that role after childbirth and breast feeding as well.
Basically, did you have trouble dealing with the double duty your breasts do? Did they remain a sexual/senusal part of you or did they simply become feeding tools?

For me the double role was too weird so while I BF'd that was it... also, I had an oversupply so if anyone touched my boobs, they would start leaking immediately. On very rare occasions, right before I would "go to bed" I would pump so they were completely empty and then DH and I would have some fun, but even then, it felt weird and I couldn't really enjoy it... I had no problem getting back into the swing of things once I stopped BFing though

This was the same for me as well, and I BF for 11 months. After a while my DH just got use to the fact that my boobs were for the baby, and he would get them back once I was done and dried up!

After BF I cetainly do not enjoy my breast being touched. I still let him because he enjoys its but I dont let him as much as he use to.

I only pumped for a month and a half---didn't ever really sucessfully breastfeed -- and I still feel weird having them touched by DH even though that was certainly never the problem before the baby.

I've wondered about this, too... I'm still BFing, and the tatas have been solely for DS.
