i'm running the marathon tomorrow
yikes, i'm really starting to get nervous now. but excited too. i'm just glad the day is finally here after 18 weeks of training! is anyone else running or is anyone spectating?
off to the official pasta dinner now

thanks for all the good luck wishes! the pasta dinner was so crazy! so many people! but it got me really pumped up. time to try and get some sleep. i'll let ya all know how i did tomorrow...

just wanted to give a quick update. we finished in 4:56 which was under our goal of 5:00, but a little off our ultimate goal of 4:45. i'm really pleased with how we did considering how hot it was! i couldn't believe how warm it was. way too much sun! we were doing great until about mile 20, and then we started tanking. but i wanted to give a big thank-you to anyone who might have been cheering or volunteered today. everyone was so awesome and supportive. i probably wouldn't have finished without them!

they have some pics of the winners up, but not of the rest of us
you can check out the official site ingnycmarathon.com for info on the elite races and to check results of everyone.
