Re: Avent Bottle users
do they leak?? My friend told me that many people had said they leaked a lot.
She told me to just register for cheap ones and then see how they like them.

Re: Avent Bottle users
I switched nipples to the next level, but some of mine are cloudy looking and I wash them and sterilize, I think I am going to replace them soon.. edited to say the only time I had problems with them leaking is if the top is not on right... or if I filled them to the top..

Re: Avent Bottle users
My sister used these bottles and they got cloudy from being put in the dishwasher (when she was hand-washing they were fine). I think Avent says that this can happen but it does not affect the integrity of the bottle. There was no way to reverse the cloudiness.

Re: Avent Bottle users
Here's Avent's answers (like I shouldn't be working now )
Thank you for contacting us about your Avent Feeding product. We have some suggestions to help resolve the trouble you are experiencing.
" There may be hard water residue on your product from the minerals in your water. These deposits leave a film. We recommend using distilled water when cleaning and sterilizing. You may also have softened water and when cleaned at high temperatures can cause the plastic to etch which can not be removed.
" Soaking in a solution of distilled water and 2 teaspoons white vinegar will remove this residue.
" Avoid using antibacterial soap or harsh detergents when washing all Avent products.
If you need further assistance please call Customer Service at 800-54-AVENT. We are available Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Central Standard Time.
Thank you, Christie Consumer Relations Avent America Inc.
