I hate both, too... but a lot of building management require 80% of the floors be covered... to reduce noise between floors. Chat Icon

Re: Carpet or rug?

We have carpet in the bedroom, and an area rug in the living room. Carpet is nicer underfoot, but I like the look of wood floors with an area rug. Plus it is easier to clean.

Carpet or rug?

Once the kitchen is done (work being done now!!!), and we replace our fence (later this summer), we are going to be carpeting the bedrooms in the second floor and replacing the hardwood floors on the first. I like carpet for bedrooms and hardwood with area rugs in other spaces.

This. I NEED a rug in the bedroom - I hate waking up and touching my feet to a cold floor!

Someone came into the site, created an account, and started advertising their company. TPTB deleted that account, and all their posts, but the thread is still up here because people didn't realize, and thought they were posting on a new topic. If we all just leave this thread alone, it will slowly sink back into the depths. We can start a new thread on this topic if anyone wants, but this thread should head back into the shadows.....
