Is there any place to go.things to do on fathers day where there won't be dads and kids around?
It's the day before our anniversary, and last year it was our anniversary so we went out to dinner at a really nice roamntic restaurant but it was still filled with families with kids saying "I love you daddy" and it was so hard for me we actually had to leave w/o eating dinner. I wanted to celebrate our anniversary that day, either with FH, or just to go out with my family... Can you think of anything where there won't be a lot of dads and kids around?

An adult store.
Maybe we should celebrate our anniversary by staying IN!

In can be fun. You can go all out with candles and flowers. Order in your fav place, or make something special
Perhaps set up your computer with a playlist of your fav songs from your wedding?

I didn't think of those.
Do you think there would be a lot of families at the zoo or aquarium? I know those are family friendly palces, but I don't think that would be where a dad would choose to go on father's day?

I would stick to more adult only type of activities like a winery or romantic restaurant.... i think that any family friendly place will be packed this time of year regardless of fathers day....

I would stay away from the zoo or the aquarium. We ALWAYS used to go to the zoo on father's day weekend because that's what my dad chose

I generally stay away from restaurants on Mother's Day and Father's Day because it is just too emotional for me.
I would avoid the zoo and aquarium too, or any place that would typically be kid friendly. I would probably celebrate at home and then maybe take a ride out later in the evening and walk on the boardwalk at Jones Beach if it is nice out.
