 seriously though... I actually found a message board (a different site) for NC residents and quite a few complain about it... well let me re-phrase that, the transplants from NY and the NE complain.

YEAH You'll love it down here.
As for bugs... I was brave today and swept all the leaves off my back patio and put them all in bags and there were no bugs at all. It is also getting cooler now, which helps, but I was so happy that nothing jumped out at me!
