I don't get why fans need to do this stuff.

I'd link to a story but since I am at work I can't get anything with sports in the text. Chat Icon

I wanted to Chat Icon Chat Icon because the wording of the subject did make me LOL ...

I just don't get it either though ... and I think one of the proudest moments as a New Yorker was when the Rangers won the Stanley Cup and nothing like this happened!

When I lived in another city, about 10 years ago, fans also did in one of the "rougher" neighborhoods in the city, when our city's team won the Superbowl. I never really get it either. Chat Icon

Did they just do this in Pittsburgh?

It's wrong of fans to do this. It's just nonsense!

I know! Never happend with the Yankees either.
Even when there are things here like the blackout) people don't riot ( anymore--I know it happned in the earlier blackouts) DH says its b/c New Yorkers don't have time! Chat Icon

Rioting at all is stupid, but I just don't understand rioting as celebration, not even a little bit.

Bedda--It did hapend in one neighborhood--LINK

I don't care if they dance on the streets naked celebrating, but i'll never understand why they have to set things on fire.....Celebrating should be something fun without it turning into violence...

What is wrong with people? Alcohol, that's the problem.
