James took care of mommy last night
I have cold...and was really hoping that my little man would sleep through...(he sometimes wakes up when his diaper is getting full...then goes right back to sleep)
Well he woke up around 2am...with a full diaper. I changed him and then attempted to put him back down to sleep...but he jumped up put pf bed insisting that I pick him up.
Its 2 in the morning and I'm trying to explain to an 18 month old that mommy is sick...and doesn't want to get you sick...so please go back to sleep.
He wouldn't listen...so finally I picked him up...as soon as I did he gave me a big bear hug...patted my back and kissed my cheak.
He wouldn't let me put him down so we went into the living room. I sat on the couch with him...and he rubbed my arm for a few minutes and then went back to sleep.
I just think that its amazing that a baby instictvly knows how to nuture.
