? about TTC and taking allergy medicine.
Hi- I am on the TTC band wagon and am in week 1 of my 2 WW.
Today I couldn't function @ all and had to take an Allegra for my allergies. Do any of you take any medicine for anything and is it ok during this time?

I try not to use anything during the 2ww except Afrin for my allergies. My doctor said Afrin was OK (even when you're PG) but that I should stay away from other meds...even Advil/Motrin. She said take tylenol instead. So if my allergies are really bad (they usually are..) I use Afrin for my nose and the Tylenol helps with the headaches.

Allegra was on my list of drugs that I can take during PG...so I think you're ok. Double check with the dr though

Funny, my doctor said Allegra was no good for me.
Might be because of my age and family history factors though. He was being very conservative in my case.
