mosaic tiles on bathroom floor
does anyone have the tiny square mosaic tiles on their bathroom floors?
we found deep blue ones that we lvoe, but the lady at home depot told us they would be too slippery.
any pics?

The glass ones? My friend has a glass tiled floor and it's not slippery at all.
I was told that we should go for a matte finish on the floor (b/c of potential slips) - we went with one that is mostly matte but has some hi-gloss pieces in it as well. No slipping issues.

I had the mosaic tile that comes on the mesh backing in the bathroom at my co-op. The white tile was non-slip and the blue diamond was gloss. I actually bought them at HD and they were perfect. I loved them so much that I'm going to do the same in the bathroom we are going to gut ina few months.

Definitely not. The ratio of blue to white is like 1 to 8. I can highly recommend them. They look great and are pretty easy to install.

how is it cleaning the grout in between all the little pieces.

I lived there for 2.5 years after I had the bathroom done, and I never had a problem. Once in a while I used bleach to wash the floor and wiped it down well afterwards.
