Re: Victorias Secret bras...getting flimsier?
I didn't really notice this... but I am annoyed that they CHANGED my bra. It used be lined and unpadded in D, and now it's padded so it doesn't have any stretch so it doesn't fit, and it doens't come a size up. I was wearing that bra since I was 14. Now I am bra-less!

Re: Victorias Secret bras...getting flimsier?
I have noticed that the underwire is no longer sewn in as well as it used to be. I have had it pop out of the edge of the bra on two different bras now...

Re: Victorias Secret bras...getting flimsier?
yes, definitely cheaper design, but bigger price tag!
I won't buy them anymore. I bought an IPEX last year and after 1 washing, the metal poked through and it was unwearable. I brought it back to the store and was told that its a new style, there are some kinks in it, and there's nothing they could do for me. I wrote VS corporate, but never got an answer. Then I got too wrapped up in school to follow up, so I just let it go.
I find better fit and support from Bali, Warner's, etc. anyway.

Does anyone have any bra advice for busty gals? D-DD?
All the bras that aren't VS that I fidn are so matronly. I hate straps that are an inch thick

Re: Victorias Secret bras...getting flimsier?
Jenn, i think the key is trying everything on.
Kohl's has good bra sales pretty often. JC Penney usually has a big selection of brands/sizes/colors.
too far for you - but I usually have good luck at the outlets in riverhead. sooooo many bali/playtex/warner's stores.

Me too . . . I don't really go there as much as I used to at all because their stuff is way too pricey to fall apart so quickly. I am sorry, but when a bra you bought from Target outlasts a bra from VS, there is a problem!

Me tooooo I go to Macy's and pay less for much better quality! I barely need a bra to begin with and paying $$$$$ for something that falls apart makes me

Re: Victorias Secret bras...getting flimsier?
I used to buy all my bras from VS and over the last 2-3 years, I have found that I just do not like them as much.

Re: Victorias Secret bras...getting flimsier?
I have been very disappointed with their products lately! Even their thongs are no longer comfortable - I find the JcPenney's ones to be more comfortable, less longer and cost a heck of a lot less!

Re: Victorias Secret bras...getting flimsier?
A friend of mine called VS customer service and they told her that their products are meant to last more than a few washings.
Needless to say, she buys her bras elsewhere too.

Re: Victorias Secret bras...getting flimsier?
THANK YOU!!! I thought it was just me! I just ordered 4 unlined full coverage and they're definitely flimsier! They sizes are smaller too!
ETA: I also can't buy them in the store anymore...I have to order online. They carry itty bitty sizes in the stores. They have very few in my size and when they do they're neon pink or green....umm...white, black or nude thank you.

Re: Victorias Secret bras...getting flimsier?
I haven't had any problems- they last at least a year for me and I wash them in the washing machine in the handwash cycle.

Re: Victorias Secret bras...getting flimsier?
I used to wear VS bras exclusively until I realized that their bras are meant for looks more than anything else. I still have a few, but never wear them.

I hear you. i LOVED my bra. I went in to VS in 8th grade and I was like "I need a bra I can play soccer in" and they gave me my bra and I wore it for so many years...WHY did they change it!?!?!?!

Re: Victorias Secret bras...getting flimsier?
The underwires are always popping out. I don't get it. I have them a few months and BAM here comes the underwire. Or the beautiful lace that I spent an extra 20. to have added on....hmmm it appears and though its starting to shredding...gotta love VS!

Yes... the last 2 bras I got from there after about 5 washings, the underwire broke through the fabric
