Anyone ever stay at Bally's, in VEGAS?

Wondering if it's

-yuck, stay away
-ok
-it's nice!

for my parents.

It's very affordable for a Vegas hotel, so we're wondering if it's a dump. Chat Icon

TIA.

eta: it doesn't need to be a spectacular room - it's only for a couple nights. They're going to spend their anniversary at the Bellagio.

Hey Nic! I was in Vegas in March and stayed at the MGM. A coworker stayed at Bally's to extend her stay with comps. It is nothing special AT ALL...She said the rooms were clean, and it is in a good, central location, but nothing great about it. If the price is right, I'd do it, but know going in it's a small room with nothing special in the casino. Hope they have fun! We loved MGM but I know it gets pricey too.

Re: Anyone ever stay at Bally's, in VEGAS?

Chat Icon thanks Beth

The problem is that they were booked on a Royal Caribbean cruise, sched. to leave on Monday (tomorrow). Their flight to FL on Monday was cancelled by Southwest Airlines, BUT the cruise itself isn't cancelled, just re-routed. My parents don't want to take the re-routed cruise, because it's only going to the Bahamas, and it'll probably rain the whole time!

So they decided, very last minute, to check into Vegas.

They're not getting their $$$ back from the cruise, only a credit voucher Chat Icon, and it'll take a bit of time for the airline to credit their CC too, so basically they're out a couple K at the moment, and don't want to drop too much on a trip to Vegas.

They're considering not going anywhere at all, even though it's their 25th Anniversary Chat Icon

I did not stay there but I have been to Vegas- as long as the rooms are clean it doesn't really matter, you spend so much time out of them anyway!

I stayed there a few years ago. It was clean and the rooms were fine. Not as nice as some of the other Vegas hotels, but just as good as any of them for a room.

Ok well they're the most indecisive people I've ever known!!!

They just got off the phone - they got a special at the Venetian, so they booked there.

Thanks for your help, everyone!
