Maternity clothes for work
I'm still in my regular clothes but am trying to plan ahead for the summer. I work in a professional environment where I must wear suits monday-wednesday. Where can I get maternity suits for the summer? or maybe some business separates?

Re: Maternity clothes for work
I popped pretty late and I didn't want to invest $ in new suits for a few months. I just kept my old suits and wore a bellyband with them (and long shirts) and I didn't close the jackets. I also faked some suits and wore generic black maternity pants with jackets that kinda looked like they match. My jacket is on the back of my chair most of the day anyway.

I have been faking too and it's working out great. One of my girlfriends asked me the other day in court where I found maternity suits! ha! Anyway, I've continued to wear my blazers unbuttoned and bought trousers in basic black, gray and brown at JC Penney. They were only $19.99. Best place for work blouses at a bargain is Burlington. They have the prettiest georgette empire blouses and I've gottten them for $7 and $9, $15 at the most. Way less than Motherhood and other places and I've gotten lots of compliments on them. All of the pieces for work are machine washable too which is such a refreshing change from having to dry clean all those suits.

Re: Maternity clothes for work
I went to motherhood and got some pants (since my pants were already too tight pre-preggo, they now don't fit at 6 weeks ). They had OK stuff, but I really don't like the quality. However, I really don't want to spend the $150 or $200 that Mimi and A Pea in the Pod is asking for pants. Is there anywhere else that has moderately priced clothes? I am a 14/16 pre-preggo, so I don't know if Gap and all that would fit me.

I bought from Gap and they are pretty true to size, I believe they run up to an 18 or 20.

Re: Maternity clothes for work
I've also gotten stuff at Kohl's, thought it's mostly casual and a few work appropriate items.
