Be careful with Greenies! There is evidence that they killed some dogs!

Try Nylabones, our vet recommends them and our dogs love them!

Stay away from Greenies!!!! They congeal and can stick in the stomach and cause a blockage!!
I stick with natural bones or filled natural bones and chew hooves.

Bully sticks are the newest trend in safe doggie treats. My pooches love them, and they have multiple sizes for the different dogs. Even Bruno, the tiny Chihuahua loves a bully stick.

Please do not give Greenies. They can coagulate in your pup's stomach and cause a fatal blockage/bloat.Chat Icon

Pigs ears are very fattening and so is rawhide if your dog is the type that will eat them (mine does)- some dogs just chew them. Katie likes hooves and bully sticks.

Have you given any Kong toys to your pup? They are very durable, and if you dog is teething then it will also help the teething process.

Re: What kind of bones can the dogs have

GREENIES ARE VERY DANGEROUS. DO NOT GIVE YOUR DOG GREENIES.

If it's for a puppy, I second the kong toys that you can fill...also, I have two small marrow bones that I fill up with cheese or peanut butter...

natural rawhide is ok in moderation, just make sure with anything you buy (rawhide, pigs, ears, bullysticks, etc) that's it's made in the USA...other countries don't have the same standards that we do...

also, most vets carry rawhide that has properties added to it to help clean thier teeth.....

I used Frontline on Katie and the poor thing had a bad skin reaction to it and lost her fur where I applied it.

it has caused the death of many many animals.
also, it cuses neurological damage as well.
obvioiusly not to every animal, but it has happened WAY too many times to still be on hte market.
i wont use any of those little squeezy things. Hartz is bad too.
my friends cat has seizures now from frontline.

I have used Frontline for two seasons now. How soon do you think one would see a reaction?
What do you use instead for fleas and ticks?
