Pet Question...
sorry to post this here but there is more traffic on these boards, especially so late in the night.
We got our kitty neudered (sp) today and the vet said not to feed him until tomorrow. But he is so hungry, I feel so bad. The last time he ate was last night. Everytime me or my DH gets up he thinks we are getting him food. DH is firm about not giving him any food until tomorrow - but i feel so bad Do u think it would be ok if I gave him a little food tonight or wait until the morning?

Re: Pet Question...
I would probably try to wait it out--maybe it has something to do with the anesthesia?
Poor kitty!

Re: Pet Question...
I know its hard but I would wait - how bad would you feel if you fed him, he ate and then got sick and vomited - maybe hurting his incision more.
f you came out of surgery, eating with all of that left over anethesia in your system probably wouldnt be a good thing.
