It's a good thing I didn't have to fly with this heightened alert
because I would be in jail.
I have actually thought of how many places I can hide a chapstick on my person, because I don't think I could stand hours in that dry air without one!

I flew last week...and I had lip-gloss and a tube of vaseline lip therapy in my purse....it was fine, nobody said boo.

I'm almost positive I heard the other day that they have reworked it so chapstick/lipstick is ok. I sure hope so - I am travelling in 2 weeks to CA and I don't know that I can handle it w/o my chapstick!

That makes me feel so much better. I'll check all my makeup I just need a tube of something!

I had to fly on the day those a-holes got arrested..you should have seen me..I was freaking out because I had like ten lip glosses in my purse..
I ended up checking in my bag with all my lipglosses/makeup..etc..

Same here, I thought I took it out of my purse but I hadn't. They ran my purse through the xray machine 3 times and the woman asked if I had lip gloss or something. I said, I think I had chapstick and she just said "okay" and sent me on my way.
