well a set back in the house getting done
today there where supposed to sheet rock. but becasue of the rain and the house not being tyvecked, the walls got saturated again . so we are set back by at least a week this week they are sending in a team with industrial size de humidifiers, then once it is all dryed up again then the insulation can go back up(they had to pull it all down again ) then a team is coming in to respray for mildew and mold. i will not be allowed inside the house for 48 hours. on monday they will come to tyveck and stop anymore rain from getting back in, then also do the rough framing for the decks and the siding. and next saterday they will try again for sheet rocking. COntractors for kids has been WONDERFUL to me and kryssy!!!they have donated most of the matrials needed to rebuild so the fund money will go to furnishing the house and if there is anything left over i will put it in a fund just from kryssy for when she gets older! again i also wanna thank EVERYONE Here on lif!! with out any of you none of this would have been at all started!!!

Sorry to hear about the setback.
Look at the bright side, it's only a week setback. A setback stinks, but the good thing is people are coming in and making sure no more mold or mildew, getting construction done and preparing if this happens again.
It's great you have all these wonderful contractors and construction team helping you and Kryssy. Before you know it you'll be walking through the front door of your home.

i know what you are saying! i am upset but like you said it's only one week and i rather be one week and have it right then 1 year and find out there is another problem! i am just ready if you know what i mean

Exactly. Excellant outlook. It's not really the same thing you're going through but when we were having the house built b/c of Charlie we had a concrete shortage, plywood shortage, wood shortgage and workers shortage. Delayed us about 6 1/2 months. It's better to be the one week and have it right then a year later and you have problems.
At least you have Krssy with you, your family and us to help you through this.

thanks guys it means alot to me to be able to vent on little things right now. today, i slept in and forgot guys where comming today. they finshed all the rough walls that needed to be done, they also started on the front and backs decks. tomorrow they will tyveck and i think finish the decks there are alot of other little things that will be done through the week, and saterday the walls go up! just with the insulation up i am seeing light at the end of the tunnel
