Anyone know how to go about or where to buy a new gas furnace?
As our luck would have it, our new home's furnace is 45 years old, has never had one repair, is probably going to break once my husband and I turn on the heat this winter. So we want to shop around for one now. We also need a new hot water heater as well. We live in Suffolk County (Huntington/Smithtown area). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Check KeySpan for any promotions they may have regarding the boiler. Otherwise, check Blackman plumbing and Huntington Plumbing supply - both on Broadway by the Huntington train station (closer to Park Avenue).
There's also AF Liberty in Hicksville.

Check with the different oil companies in the area, like Englemann, Petro, Perrillo. A lot of times they can offer a bundled package along with a service contract.
