Completly stupid questions
but these are the things I think about...
DH and I are always talking about our future "children"
We both really like the name Rylee Shea for a girl... and have pretty much decided on it (if we are lucky enough to have a girl in the future)
Now we would like 3 children and all I can think about is....
If our next baby is a girl, and our 3rd is a boy- then that last baby has to have an "R" name too...
How could we have Ryan, Rylee, and Benjamin??? Wouldnt little ben wonder why he didnt get an "r" name as well...
If the 3rd was a girl... then I have tons more "r" names I like...
And if the 2nd was a boy- then I could totally get away w/o giving him an R name...
But if it works the other way around... it just wouldnt be fair...
Does anyone else think as stupidly as me...

Re: Completly stupid questions
I think it's totally OK to have a R R and a B. I know a few familys who have picked one letter and named thier kids all names that went along with it and it's a little silly in some of the cases. I also think it is limiting. If you like a name then go for it!
BTW Benjamin is one of the boy's names that I like so I'm gonna have to beat you to it!!

Re: Completly stupid questions
Well, then we might be in trouble too. I don't think we'd go with a G name for either sex. Although, it's been discussed.

I love benjamin - it was on our boys list.
I have a J name - then my mom named my Bro a J name - then her brother and sister (who had kids after her) named there kids with J names - needless to say my grandmother never called us by the correct name haha.

Re: Completly stupid questions
well i absolutely love the name rylee shea. it is beautiful. just for thought, if spencer had been a girl we were gonna name him (or her) Reese Taylor. thought i'd give you that for an idea. or i also love the name Ryder. both could go boy or girl I work in a Nicu so some of the other unisex names are: Ryan or Ryanne Rylee Reese Dillon or Dylan Devon

Re: Completly stupid questions
My sister and BIL have two children ( )--everyone in the family has a "K" name. They actually combined their names to make their son's name. They also want 3 and feel they're pretty much locked into another "K" name...but in their case, everyone has the same initial, not only the children. They sign stuff (like b-day cards, etc) K4, which I won't comment on

Re: Completly stupid questions
I dont think it is stupid at all. I think about what our children's initals will spell out but not the first letter of his names. Our last name begins with an S and I am always worried it will spell a word I dont like and that people might make fun of it. Ds's is LIS. We are thinking of Oliver if we have another son but I think we need to rethink the middle name because that poor child initals would be OSS and in my opinion way to close to A$$.

Re: Completly stupid questions
Ok, I have to be honest here. This was me as a child, I was the only "C". My mother, father, and brother were all "M"s. And yes, it did bother me a little. Especially since my name wasn't that common and they have very common names. I told myself that the fact that mom and dad were the same was because of luck, and then the reason why my brother was the same was because he had to be the same name as my father(they are the 3rd and 4th!). So once I figured that out, I was over it. Now fast forward to now, you know I am a "C", my husband is a "J", and my son is a "C" and if an when we try again and we have a girl next she will most likely be a "J". Not sure what we will do if it's a boy, but I hope if I have a name that doesn't "match", I use it. Because in the end, and here comes the cheesy line...loving them is all that matters. It worked out for me!!!
If it bother's you and you can't find another "R" name for the boy you could always find an "M" name. He'll match you then
