New Mom has a question
Hello Ladies, I have not been on in a while. I had a little girl on May 5th And she is perfect.
However, I went to the Dr. today and he said that she has a small hernia and infection in her belly button.
Has anyone ever experienced this??
Any information would be very helpful.
Thank you so much!!

Re: New Mom has a question
Maddie had a hernia when she was born. Pediatrician would just check her until he said she was fine.
Haven't heard of a belly button infection.

My friends son had an infection in his belly button - It went away after a week of medicine.

Re: New Mom has a question
Jenna has a small bump above her belly button that the ped said was a small hernia. He said that it was nothing to worry about physically and it doesn't need to be removed surgically unless it seems to bother her or if she ever wants it removed for cosmetic reasons.

If those are the worst issues then you have nothing to worry about. It is so tough everytime they get sick or don;t feel well just wanna make itgo away.
