I think a co-worker just made up my mind about quitting my job before/after I have the baby....(long vent)!
I have been having problems with this one girl for the past few weeks. I found out from my manager she has an attitude b/c she apparently wanted my position and didnt get it (and she has been with the company, I am brand spankin' new). Well we got printer paper delivered the other day in big boxes and it was sitting on the floor in the front of our office. I tried to kick the box to move it and it didn't move, that is how heavy they are. She looked at me and said "well, I used to drag them to the closet why can't you?" HELLO!!!!! WHAT GETS ME IS SHE KNOWS I AM PREGNANT and that is why she is giving me attitude, b/c she definetely feels she should have gotten the job b/c i will be going out on maternity leave obviously for a few months.
I called DH very upset, and I am not very sensitive to things like this, but I have bad anxiety which has been very bad lately being I am off my medicine b/c I am pregnant and I just dont need the bullsh*t. It is hard for me to come into work and sit here all day b/c my nerves are so bad.
The other day I posted about not knowing what I wanted to do about work after the baby, etc. I have always wanted to have my own business, especially since planning my wedding (which I loved to do) and to start off I wanted to start my own invitation and favor store. So DH wants me to quit and work on that. But that will take a while to get started. I already have my business license and everything, I just have to buy all the books, supplies, etc. and right now we are trying to focus on our new house.
I still can't believe she said that!!!

I would have said to her "a few months ago, that would not have been a problem, but could you help me out since my belly gets in the way...".
Make it light but make it know that you aren't going to get pushed over by her. I KNOW how heavy those boxes are cause I used to move them myself. Let her melt in her own jealousy and brush it off. Don't let it bother you - you have much better things ahead :)
