As you know, we're going with a Winnie the Pooh themed nursery and this is the border I bought. So now I need help figuring out which color(s) to paint the walls. The border will go in the middle of the room, so we'll have the option to do 2 colors if that works.

I might do a lighter version of the green, or maybe the ecru.

I would go with ecru- that way you can also take the border down and decorate w/ another theme w/o having to repaint the room

Ditto

I think that if the walls are a little understated you can do a LOT ...and it will look so classy.

Its like a cream color.

I was definitely leaning towards a buttercream color... I didn't want to do too much green... i thought that might be over kill. I think the cream color will make the border stand out more.

Light yellow
Light green
Light blue

Or you could use 2 colors divided by the border.

I wouldve suggested buttercream also, but there are so many pretty soft colors you can choose from in that border. My next instinct was to go with one of the shades of green in the grass.

The buttercream color sounds perfect you need some contrast you do not want too much green or blueChat Icon

we have a similar pooh theme (just the bedding) and our nursery is a light green. It's perfect! We chose not to do a border so the room can be easily transformed

I would pick up the yellow. There is a lot of green so that would work as well. I'm partial to yellow because that is the color I am painting our nursery. Chat Icon
