My appt is next Thursday but I can't stand looking at the flab....I feel like a Jello Jiggler.

I was cleared at 5 weeks but that's when I went and had my appointment. I upped my cardio before I started working about ABs so much. I needed to burn off the baby flab first and strengthen my back before I was ready for crunches.
Good Luck when you do start working out again!

I didn't until I got the okay from the doctor, just because I was nervous. I did do light cardio though.

I asked my doc this specific question because before I got pregnant I was doing Pilates and a lot of core strengthening exercised I learned from going to PT for 3 months after a bad accident ... and I totally want to do them again, they worked SO well! But he said that even though I may feel okay and the insision looks fine not to do it until 6 weeks. I don't know if it would be different for a vag delivery.
