xpost - baby naming invite advice needed

We are going to have a baby naming for Talia in less than a month, I am unsure what the best way to invite people is...SO if you have been invited to a baby naming can you tell me how you got an invite...

Phone
Email
Paper (snail mail)
Other?

What do you think the best way to go is...we want it to be pretty low key and timing wise we want to do something soon.

NAMING CEREMONIES
In Judaism, it is traditional to give boys their Hebrew names during the ceremony of brit milah, or bris, the ritual circumcision that takes place on the baby's eighth day of life. Traditionally, girl's names are given in the synagogue on a day when the Torah is read. However, in recent times many parents have begun to hold naming ceremonies for their daughters, called simhat bat, which take place at the same time as would a brit milah. For both boys and girls, naming ceremonies are beautiful, often highly emotional ceremonies for welcoming a child into the world.

oh, so it's like the catholic version of a christening? (Sorry for needing an explaination).

If it's something that's a more formal gathering(meaning peopple should save the date, rsvp, etc), then yes I think an invitation is suitable.

I was just at a bris and baby naming this weekend (twins) and the moile said that there are no actual invitations to a bris or naming, that invitation is by word of mouth.

My friend did however send out an email with the information and directions.
