How much baby furniture did you get?
We are getting ready to order our baby furniture and I not sure what to get. The room is small but it has a double closet. We are planning on getting a crib (w/ a drawer underneath and the changing table with drawers and a hutch over it.
Do you think we need to get a dresser too? I don't want to get too much and have the room be crowded but I also don't want to not have enough room for it's things.
This is the set we are planning on getting. Image Attachment(s):

Re: How much baby furniture did you get?
We have a crib with drawer underneath, an armoire with 2 huge drawers and a changing table similar to the one in that picture - Michael also has a huge closet in his room. I have every drawer filled except one - that one holds clothes that don't fit him yet - His clothes are getting bigger so the amount of room is getting smaller and little by little I'm noticing everything filling up!
I just re-read your post - if the room is small, I wouldn't get the dresser - personally I think it looks a lot like your changing table anyway. What about a small armoire? or just arrange his closet so that there's lots of easy storage in there! I don't think the dresser is necessary.

with the room already having a double closet, i think you can forego the dresser.

Re: How much baby furniture did you get?
I agree you don't need the dresser. I have a nice size room with a changing table and hutch like above - maybe slightly bigger. I have the crib with the drawer, a big walk in closet. I got a small dresser with mirror for the room and it is more storage than I need. I needed one more piece and figure that would grow with a child so that is why I got it.

Re: How much baby furniture did you get?
I have almost the same set..but we did not get the bookcase top because Molly's room is rather small. I never once used a changing table..I hate them. I can't change her sideways. I use her bassinet in the beginning and then (and now) a towel on my bed. It is just easier for me that way. I am glad I got all 3 pieces plus a glider/ottoman.
