big deep hole in the backyard...

about 5-7 inches wide, looks very deep.. what can it be? I don't mind having furry guests... I just hope it's not a snake! Does snakes lives underground in the grass?? Chat Icon

the hole is new, I've never seen it before... and it looks like some kind of animals did it. We just put our fence up on monday, yesterday was the first day my dogs are out in the yard.

I usually get holes in my yard and they arent really deep. They are done by either racoons, armadillos, or ant eaters.

We have bobcats too but I havent seen any near my house.
