Braxton Hicks/Cramping question
This pregnancy has been soooooo different than my first.. I apologize for sounding so lost.. but with this pregnancy I am!
I have been kinda crampy for the past couple of days, and one of my friends asked if I could be getting Braxton Hicks. I HONESTLY have no Idea... I never got BH with my first pregnancy, I thought I was the day I went into labor, but it obviously was not..
My question is if you have/had BH, is it kinda crampy? Like you drank too much water and went for a jog, or swimming..and your lower abdomen/ back started cramping? I dont wanna call my Dr. if its nothing to be worried about but liek I said I feel lost! TIA!

Re: Braxton Hicks/Cramping question
I think BH are not really painful- mine was just a tightening of my belly. Sometimes it was unconfortable, but it didn't really hurt.
I would call your Dr. I wouldn't worry though, I felt the same crampy feeling and it was nothing. Just call to be safe.

Re: Braxton Hicks/Cramping question
With my second pregnancy, my Braxton Hicks were stronger and a lot more frequent. I read it was because my body was already prepping itself for labor since it had already been through it - and that would utlimately lead to a shorter labor.
I also read that most second pregnancies carry higher in the end - which is why when my labor started I thought it was Braxton Hicks again. I was thinking I had at least another 2 weeks.
And in the end, call your doctor anyway - everyone is different
