Do you go to Sample Sales?
just curious.
I've been to a few on 36th/8th in the past, and I'm itching to go to one again soon.

I love sample sales! however, I rarely get the invitations anymore. If you have any can you please share? I always find good stuff.

Thats how I got my wedding dress and other formal dress. but never for reg. clothes. I ended up getting my wedding dress for $199 it was org. a 2,000 dollar dress.

My office is in the garmet district--so I am around them all the time.
The last one I went to was a Nanette Lepore one-- who I love! But, this sale was so hard to walk around- they had NO MIRRORS and the line for the community dressing room was too long-- AND it was cash only.
You either need to know that everything will look good on you, and be very prepared in order to do well-- it's too stressful for me.
I prefer handbag and accessories-- things you don't need to "try on"...

I love sample sales but I haven't been to one in a while. I got my wedding gown at a Reem Acra sample sale.. I bought a few bags at a Kate Spade sample sale as well. I used to get emails with listing of sample sales around the city but not anymore since I don't shop as much as I used to.

I went to a lot of them when I lived in the city. They were always hit or miss. Now I'd only go if I knew that it was going to be worth my time.
