Guy friends, girl friends, and your spouse
How many male friends do you have and do you have more male friends than female friends? What about your spouse - how many female friends does he have? (For the guys of LIF, reverse the genders and reply)

we share friends - we've known each other since high school...the friends are all male.
My only female friends are 1 girl I work with, 1 girl in Canada, and you guys!

Same exact thing here..
DH has one really good female friend (we joked she was going to be "best woman" at our wedding) but otherwise, the majority of his buddies are male

Re: Guy friends, girl friends, and your spouse
I have mostly male friends, although my rate of female friendships has been going up. He has three really good female friends. However, he is close with my male friends and I am close with his female friends. Infact, I am probably closer with his female friends now than he is.

Re: Guy friends, girl friends, and your spouse
We have the same friends, all are mutual friends. We have hung out with basically all of the same people since we met 8 years ago.

I have mostly female friends...of course we share friends so any of my friends are his friends and vice versa. He doesn't have any female friends on his own though...just male.

Re: Guy friends, girl friends, and your spouse
I have a lot of male friends but most of them are gay! DH had 1 very close girl friend but as we grew closer, she disappeared. He has mostly male friends.

Re: Guy friends, girl friends, and your spouse
DH doesn't have any female friends.
I have a male friend that I've been friends with since 7th grade. He's also married. I'm cool with his wife and DH is REALLY cool with my male friend.
But, in all honesty, me and my male friend NEVER EVER had ANY kind of romance or romantic experiences with each other EVER. I know that if we had, DH would NOT want to associate with him...

Re: Guy friends, girl friends, and your spouse
We have the same friends. Before I dated DH, I had more male friends then female friends. Now, we "hang out" with couples and some single friends as well.

Re: Guy friends, girl friends, and your spouse
I have my 4 "girls". They were bridesmaids and they are my buds. 2 of them I used to work with and 2 of them I have know my entire life. I had a guy friend from college that i kept in touch with for a long time. We still speak a few times a year but since the wedding, it has really died off. Not for any reason other than we both got busy. DH has his group of friends from HS. Some guys, some girls. They are all now married and all the DHs and DWs hang out. I often forget who was "original"! Outside of the "group", DH has 3 female friends, one from college, one from HS and another he used to work with. The one from HS is married with kids and the other two are swingin singles. The 2 single girls and I get along great. One if them is always in a relationship (you know the type, every few months she is in a new relationship and he is "the one"!). We often double date with her and her "man". If nothing else, at least it is entertaining! The other single girl and I go out all the time. She is a blast to go to happy hour with We (DH and I) also hang out with her a lot. DH and I don't act "couply" when we go out with our single frind so it isn't really an issue for us.
The college friend is married with 3 kids so she and DH talk about married stuff
