High Chairs
How old was your baby when you started using a High Chair?
I can't help but thinking that the DH and I would enjoy our dinner better if Noah was in a high chair.

Re: High Chairs
go for it it's great I think 6 months but we should have started earlier. Now it is his favorite seat. He loves to have the tray off while he watches TV. he is obsessed with his toes! We have the FP aquarium chair...it reclines and you can roll it around the house.
I put him by the window to watch the ladies go by,

Re: High Chairs
I can't actually remember, but I think somewhere around 4 months. It was able to be reclined so while my dh and I were eating we would put my son in it so he was at the table with us.

Re: High Chairs
I think 5 months. At 4 months he probably was ready but we hadn't taken the highchair out of storage....

same here...she had pretty good neck control though... ETA: I would go with plastic and straps...wooden seems so uncomfortable.

Re: High Chairs
I preferred the plastic one with straps. If find it easier to see dirt, food mess against white plastic than wood. Also strapping them into a 4 point harness was helpful.

Re: High Chairs
If I get a plastic one I can just take it into the backyard and hose it down once Noah goes onto solids!!!

Re: High Chairs
I wanna say 3.5 months or so... My highchair reclines so I use to put him it while we ate dinner, and then put some musical toys on his tray- he was completly occupied!

Re: High Chairs
Actually I just set up DS high chair this AM and he had Lunch in it. He just turned 5 months the other day. He fits well in it and did great. I can't wait to eat dinner, because he will have his own chair to sit in now, instead of my lap!
