Re: Stage 2 foods?
I started at about 5 months. Kevin will eat about 1/2 jar @ each meal, unless it's the only thing he's getting, then he'll eat the whole jar.

Re: Stage 2 foods?
I think it was around 6 months that the Dr gave us the go ahead for Stage 2.

Re: Stage 2 foods?
I started with Stage 2 when Michael went though all the stage 1's... we started stage 2 meats first (never did stage 1) and that was about 8.5months old. He started cereal and stage 1's at 6 months.

Re: Stage 2 foods?
I was wondering this too. Hayley started stage 1's at 4 months old, she is almost 6 months. She has tried all stage 1 foods and had no reactions. I guess I should wait for the Dr to give me the go ahead to move up to stage 2.

Re: Stage 2 foods?
There are a lot of stage 2's that are single ingredient, those IMO would be fine to start if you feel your child would like more fruits or veggies... it's the stage 2's that are mixed with other ingredients that you have to treat as a "new food" if he/she hasn't already had it, so that you can watch out for a possible reaction... but most Stage 2's don't have crazy stuff in it and there are no chunks - I did not wait for the doctor to give me the okay, I just started them! Have fun exploring, there's a lot more to eat in Stage 2's!

That's exactly why I was asking, because the Stage 2 foods look SO much more appetizing...
