Stomach issues with dieting?
In the past week I lost 5 pounds (yay!), and have been eating mostly fruit and salad, with lean chicken for dinner.
But, my stomach feels really off. I think I'm not used to so much fruits and veggies. Anyone else have this problem?

Good work Beth!
What kind of fruits have you been eating? Sometimes the sugar content in fruits can give you a little bit of a stomach ache. Maybe try eating fruits separately from your other foods too.....

Thanks! Usually for breakfast I have been eating honeydew and cantalope, with the occasional piece of watermelon. Sometimes strawberries. For lunch, a small salad with fat free dressing. Dinner is chicken and salad. Oh exciting! But it does seem to be working so I can't complain. I've been eating craisens or plain popcorn as a snack.

Re: Stomach issues with dieting?
yeah, it took some time to adjust to the healthy stuff. about two weeks to get used to all the greens and veggies. but now that i eat better, i find that my stomach can't handle the bad oily things i used to eat.

when my brothers switched to a vegan lifestyle, their stomach cramps were so bad. It lasted 2 weeks, now they are in the clear.

I'm going to sound a bit like Mark for a second here ; your body is detoxifying. Your body's used to being filled with junk and now it's being filled with good stuff and it's like "hey, what the heck's going on?" Your body will get adjusted soon. Congrats on losing 5 lbs
