Has anyone ever done this? (Credit card related)
Had a cc company take off a late fee? I never pay late, and I could have sworn that I made arrangements for an online payment for Feb. 1. Last night when I checked, no payment had been made and I was charged a late fee. I'm so annoyed.

Yes. I've been told that you can get a Holiday extension, meaning that if there is a holiday that would affect your payment, they will note it on your account and give you a few more days to pay. Call up the company. I have MBNA

I call up all the time and have it done, I would just state that you thought you had paid it on time, and if you have really good credit with them, they usually take it off

Its happened to me before, too.
There is 1 courtesty waive, no questions asked. After that, you have to explain yourself.

Yes, i just call and blame it on the bank. I have had it done a few times. Amex is great about it if you are a good customer.
