Re: X-Post from Home- Kitchen Appliances
yeah I spoke to my mom about it- and she has never ever heard of anyone doing this..
I am just trying to figure out the best way to get new appliances- dealing with removal and installation-- and trying to make a buck off of what we have-- which is top of the line GE appliances, 4 years old-- but they are white and we'd like stainless appliances. We also live in an apt-- so, keeping the appliances in a basement or backyard while waiting for a potential buyer is not really an option.

What about going to the store where you plan on purchasing your new appliances and asking them what they do?

Yeah-- I will ask around-- I am not even sure how much I would get for our old appliances. I just started to do some research and was wondering if anyone had experience with this-- we probably would not be buying anything new for a while.
