Anyone have permanent/forever french?

Me and my sister LBG30 were thinking about getting it. But whenever I ask about it at my nail salon, I never understand exactly what it is.

I am concerned with it ruining my nails since I have pretty strong nails. But I love the idea of it never chipping or waiting for your nails to dry!

I've been tempted to get it but I'm scared to get anything permanent. I have nice nails & I'm scared to ruin them Chat Icon

I used to have it- it is the same as having acrylic over your nails, I think it can also be done in silk or gel.

But it is artifical nails, and if you have nice natural nails I wouldn't get it.

Re: Anyone have permanent/forever french?

I used to have a permanent french. They use acrylic powder in colors pink and white to create the french. It's just like how they apply regular acrylic, only they use colors instead. You can use a clear top coat or a color like mademoiselle as an overcoat.

the only downfall is that it is acrylic on your nails and you may not want that. i had them for years and when I took them off all my nails were weak and broke off. But they always looked pretty.

My lady told me they can do it on my nails with the gel. She said that it doesn't ruin your nails at all-but I don't know if she is just saying that!
I love the idea of not getting a manicure every week and walking out the door i/o sitting there to wait for my nails to try cause to me that's the worst!!!!

Re: Anyone have permanent/forever french?

Gel will ruin your nails just like acrylic. Anything artificial over you nails will.

But they will grow out eventually, when you take the gel off your nails will be really thin and weak, but will probably go back to normal when they grow out (it always took me 5-6 months to get them to grow out).

I think if you have nice natural nails you will regret it.
