I need a good gift idea for an Engagment Party?
DH's friend is having an engagment party and we don't want to give money. What's a good gift to give that's not too much money. We'd love to do more, but we are broke! I'm trying to think of gifts we received and I'm drawing a blank. Thanks.

That sounds really nice. I guess i could always buy the glasses at a Target or something so they are not that much money. Thanks, I like this idea !  What's a good/decent wine? I'm not a wine person.

I was going to say the same thing. Does she have a registry, take something from there and build from it to make a basket.
Like a pasta night basket (pasta bowl, utensils, good olive oil, pasta, recipe for sauce, canels, wine opener, etc.)

They just got engaged a couple of weeks ago so I doubt she did a registry yet. But I do love these ideas. I could buy the basket at Michaels and work from there. It will be even nicer because I made it myself.

I am a big fan of Marshalls. The wine I will get back to you on. DH sells wine for a living, so he will know what is decent and not expensive
