respost from travel-need opinions on cruise
I'm trying to convince DH that we should go on another cruise. We could go on the Norwegian Dawn (7 days, Bermuda and Bahamas) in a low level ocean view for $1485, or we can go on the Norwegian Spirit (6 days, Florida and Bahamas) in a high level ocean view for $1365 or a low level balcony for $1511. Both cruises leave right out of NY so airfare isn't neccesary and the prices I listed are per couple, not per person. Money is definitely an issue- it's why DH is reluctant to go. So what would you suggest? If we went with the Spirit, the bigger question is whether or not to spend the extra money on the balcony or use that money on the trip.

We're looking at leaving either June 10 (7 night cruise) or June 11 (6 night cruise.) I found these prices right on Expedia. I've searched lots of other websites and the prices are all the same. Expedia is actually $15 more than others because they charge a booking fee.

Try looking at prices on Walmart.com (really!) DH and I booked our cruise to Alaska (we leave next weekend, YAY!) and it was actually $100 less per person for an ocean view room.

Thanks for the advice. I gave it a try but the prices were the same.

I'd definitely go with the Bermuda cruise. You don't spend much time in the room anyway, and Bermuda is a much nicer destination than the Bahamas IMO.

Re: respost from travel-need opinions on cruise
I'm looking into these exact cruises myself - I think we can only go on the Spirit because of the dates offered - but if I could go on either, I think I'd pick the Bermuda/Bahamas combo. Both sound nice, but I'd definitely pick that one, with the ocean view room.
