Anyone exhausted after getting baby ready to go out?
It's so hot, I feel like I didn't even shower this morning! There's so much to remember to pack - bottles, change of clothes, diapers, etc.... Not to mention, timing the outing between feedings bc the last thing you want is screaming baby while on the highway.
DH never gets why I think going out is such a hassle if it's not necessary.

I totally get where you are coming from.
It's definitely challenging just getting out the door. Did I remember to bring this? Did I forget that? Then there's the whole "ready the dogs" to go out routine, where I have to let them out to pee, set the alarm, cage the little one, grab my keys, the baby and my pocketbook and hurry out the door within the 60 seconds before the alarm activates. Ugghh!!
I'm exhausted before I even get out the door.

Re: Anyone exhausted after getting baby ready to go out?
I found that I was sooo scared to go out with the baby because I felt that I didn't have control of the situation. If he started screaming or if I ran out of formula...I felt like I didn't know what I would do. I feel better now...not so paranoid...but I do get exhausted before I get out the door.

I know what you mean. The first time he started hollering while I was driving, I got so frazzled. I reached back to put the pacifier back in his mouth but it wasn't working. I couldn't take the crying so I got off on the next exit and sat in the back with him until he quieted down.

Now all I do is put Jared's mittens on so he doesn't scratch his face and he can scream his head off while I'm driving...
