Babies on solids: how many ounces/day do they drink?
My baby has a jar of fruit in the morning, jar of veggies or meat in the afternoon & a jar of fruit for dinner... i mix cereal with the jars as well.
he was drinking about 28 oz formula/day but the past 2 days he's only had around 20 oz...

Ryan eats 24-27 via bottle and about 3-4 via cereal...

so do you think i should be giving him some cereal with formula to make sure he gets enough? i'm so onfused...
so far today he's had 6 1/2 oz at 8am, stage 1 bananas w/ oatmeal at 11am, gave him some avocado to try, & that's it! i tried feeding him at 1:00pm & he only drank 2 oz & wanted to go to sleep!!!
what am i doing wrong...ahhhhhh....

When they are on solids as well, the recommend 18-20 oz of milk in addition to the food. I dont know how old your son is but that remains the case through toddlerhood. My daughter is almost 19 months and has 18 oz per day. My son is now a preschooler and has 2 glasses a day (12 oz)

Michael was having 24oz of formula a day (he still get's 24oz milk/formula) and that's with 3 meals... Once we went to 3 meals he went down to 24.
