Does my baby have a bug???
I dropped Ryan off at my inlaws on Sat and it turns out my FIL had a stomach bug...
Today the babys BM's were really loose (though usually -somtimes they are looser than others)(however he had 2-his usual is 1-2x's per day...so its not often or anything...so I dont think it would be considered diarhhea (?) )
Anyways- his gas and stools smell quite vile...and I took his temp rectally before and it was 99.4.... should I be concerned??
Hes not cranky or anything... does this constitute a phone call to the Dr. ?

I am paranoid, I wouls just call the dr because it's almost 100...  to Ryan!!!

See Im paranoid too... but the only thing completely different is the horrid smell...other than that.. the texture and amount is normal...
Right when I was leaving the hospital after having him they said they consider a fever anything higher than 101. Is this right?

101 is what they told me too, but there's a lot of stuff going around, maybe you call your ped. just in case

Well he just had another loose BM that was STINKY.. so i took his temp again, now its 98.0
I decided to call the ped. and no answering service is picking up 
This was my ped when i was a kid and ive never had any problems, but right now im pis sed...
He is still eating n drinking his water...

HI, well I will say (knock on wood) in 3 1/2 years my son never had the stomach bug. Anyway for now just keep Ryan hydrated. If he is eating and not crying do not worry. If there is no fever dont worry even though its scary the first time our little ones dont feel well. You will know if he is sick trust me. It is common for babys to get ruuny BMs. If you are still nervous call the doc they always give us comfort. Actually, I always call my mom before the doc (LOL) she always knows best, - Shari

Thanks...I guess the reason Im freaking out was because he was exposed to someone who had a bug...
