East Northport
Nice Area. Our accountant lives over there. Really nice area.
Any of you local people see that wierd house they just built on Larkfield road, it is right next to a church. It is a really nice house, just seems out of place. It is on the corner of Larkfield road, and another block but I forgot the name of it. It was a few blocks in past Jericho Tpke.

Re: East Northport
I don't think I've seen it, but I'll look for it. Is it one of those tear-down-and-build-an-inappropriately large- house things?

Re: East Northport
It is a victorian type of house - New Construction. I believe the siding is a light cream color.
Other than that house, the houses in the area of where my accountant was were well maintianed Split level homes and High Ranches. Really nice neighborhood.
It reminded me of Levittown, because there were the street lamps that levittown has in front of some of the homes. I have one right in front of my house. Scott

I think it's part of the church (which is forever building).

Maybe I'll drive by tonight to check it out. I get all those streets mixed up - Burr, Cedar, Clay Pitts - I still don't know my way over there.
I did find the vegetable stand where J's uncle sells stuff - it's in Greenlawn, where Pulaski meets some other road, right before Waldbaums. I was very proud of myself for finding it.

Re: East Northport
Now i remember what you're talking about. I was also under the impression it belonged to the church. It is a very odd location if it's not part of the church!

Re: East Northport
I live in the area, and we were told by people who attend that it is part of the church. I believe it's either for the pastor or their daycare center.
It is modular/pre-fab construction. They delivered the pieces and assembled them in one day.

Re: East Northport
wow pretty cool.
I wonder what the quality of a pre fab house is like. A friend used to live in one a few years back and it wasnt made that well....Almost felt like you could feel the breeze on the inside of the house. Scott
